This south facing garden had a rectangular lawn and narrow borders in front of the house. The new design created a sweeping curved terrace for entertaining, stepping stones through the lawn and generous new borders to envelop the house in lush cottage style planting. Locally reclaimed sandstone was carefully sourced to match the existing paving and house.
