Brief; To create a sympathetic, usable space. The garden had previously had a series of small ponds. The ground had been left with sunken areas, making it difficult to maintain.
Scope; Design, build & plant.
We cleared this overgrown front garden, retaining and reshaping some shrubs for privacy & screening in a prominent village location. The design added a morning seating area with Belgian clay pavers and a self binding gravel path. We added low maintenance, shade tolerant planting to be enjoyed throughout the year.
Result; Our clients report using the space for breakfast and looking at plants with fresh eyes! What was a challenging, cold space has inspired them to get outdoors.
